Our avocados are of the HASS variety, available throughout the year in different volumes.
Our fields are distributed at different heights which allow us to have a harvest throughout the year, always guaranteeing the best quality and size. The seasons of top production are from August to February (depending on the year weather conditions).
Michoacán has unique weather conditions, along with fields of fertile lands.The Region has become the largest producer in Latin America and is one of the biggest exporters in the world.

Some of these conditions allow Michoacán to be the only place where avocado has up to 4 blooms per year, when the rest of the regions of the world that produce avocados has up to 2 per year.

The Avocados made its way across the Atlantic when Spanish explorers were introduced to the avocado in the 16th century.

The avocado made its way to the Land of Liberty and enjoyed moderate popularity where avocado farms existed, such as California, Florida, and Hawaii. People in other areas of the country largely avoided avocados until the 1950s when the fruit became a supporting actor in delicious salads. Part of the reason for people’s avoidance of this delicious fruit was due to the long-standing reputation of avocados as an aphrodisiac, which made the fruit taboo among the conservative American public.
2016
World Avocado Organization
The World Avocado Organization (WAO) was established in February 2016 as a multinational non-profit organization. Based in Washington, D.C., the WAO represents some of the world’s largest avocado producers, exporters and importers, including Mexico, Peru, South Africa and the United States of America. The organization’s primary purpose is to promote and increase the consumption, awareness and value of avocados in select international markets. The WAO’s first activity is a large-scale marketing and promotion campaign in the European Union including the United Kingdom.

Mexico is Leader of Avocado Production
Mexico stands out as the main producer and exporter of avocado in the world. In 2020, with data on international trade from the United Nations, the value of world avocado exports was 6.270 million dollars (million dollars), of which Mexico participated with 46.5% (2.913 million dollars).
